How to bet with a sure bet
When there is a sure bet found (a bet with a profit greater than 0) corresponding event is shown under the menu item Sure Bets. When you click at the event's name you will have a list of bookmakers which gives odds for this event. You should log into your account of bookmakers which give the highest odds for each of the competitors. Then you should check if the listed in the table odds are correct and correspond with ones on the bookmakers sites. The odds on the first competitor on the bookmakers site should be equal to the odds shown in the "1" column. Accordingly the odds on the second competitor on the bookmakers site should be equal to the odds shown in the "2" column. If that is true you may bet on.
If you would like to win 100 USD (or other currency as well) you should bet
- 100/(odds on the first competitor) on the first competitor and
- 100/(odds on the second competitor) on the second competitor
Example:
Table under menu item "Sure Bets" says:
| Date | Event | 1 | X | 2 | Factor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 28-01-2012 15:00 | West Brom - Norwich Soccer > England > FA Cup |
1.667 | -- | 2.700 | 2.9750 |
Factor is greater than 0. It means that this event is a sure bet. You should click on 'West Brom - Norwich' text and see which bookmaker gives the highest odds on West Brom and which for Norwich (names may be different slightly according to your locale and program algorithm). Then you can log into the bookmaker's website and check if it's odds on West Brom is 1.667 and check if the other bookmaker gives 2.7 for Norwich. If it is correct - make a bet at the first and the second bookmaker.
If you would like to win 150 USD you should bet
- 150/1.667 = 90 USD on West Brom on the first bookmaker's website
- 150/2.7 = 55.56 USD on Norwich on the second bookmaker's website
It is obvious that you bet 90 USD + 55.56 USD = 145.56 USD.
If West Brom wins you gain 90 USD * 1.667 (odds of the first bookmaker) = 150.03 USD
If Norwich wins you gain 55.56 USD * 2.7 (odds of the second bookmaker) = 150.01 USD
